Archives

The Center's archive has moved into its new permanent space in Room 307 of Main Hall. This facility and its nearby storage space are the headquarters of the Center's day-to-day operations.

Under the direction of Nathan Matlock, the archive is an important resource for Regis students giving them access to primary source materials like taped interviews, memoirs, photographs and letters donated by dozens of veterans. Students in the Stories From Wartime class also use the archive for research and writing assistance as they prepare their required projects. A new permanent display case in the hallway outside the office hosts a rotating exhibit of items donated to the Center.

Interns working in the archive assist in the cataloging of donated materials and are working to translate the captions of donated German and French news agency photos of the World War II and immediate postwar era.
